Community Foundation
We are pleased to announce that Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama has received a Closing the Opportunity Gap from The Community Foundation of South Alabama (CFSA).
These funds will support programs that narrow the opportunity gap among our local youth. The grant will expand the visual arts programs at Bernard Malkove Branch, Optimist Branch, Kiwanis Branch, Semmes Branch, and Sonny Callahan Branch. The Community Foundation of South Alabama is a nonprofit charitable organization that plays a key role in meeting the needs of an eight-county region through leadership and grants.

The Foundation serves as a vessel for donors, volunteers, and the community to share ideas, identify issues, and build financial resources necessary to make improvements and positively impact the community.

“We are eager to fund organizations that are making efforts to close the ‘Opportunity Gap’ in our community,” said Community Foundation of South Alabama President & CEO Rebecca Byrne. “Our funding and support ensure that our children will grow into capable adults who can contribute to a prosperous and sustainable society.”
