Our History
Since 1957, Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama has provided a safe and positive environment where young people can learn, grow and thrive. Founded by community leaders B. R. “Babe” Wilson Jr., Arthur Tonsmeire Jr. and Jack Harris, the organization serves young people ages 6–18 through safe Club environments, caring staff and opportunities that open doors to Great Futures.
