Celebrating confidence, community and Club pride.
The Bernard Malkove Branch at Cody Road celebrated its 2nd Annual Grand Coronation in 2026, recognizing the achievements, leadership, personalities, and bright futures of young people within the Club.
Club members had the opportunity to dress up, take part in the Royal Court, and enjoy a special celebration surrounded by their families, BGCSA staff, community partners, and supporters. Jayton Meztner and My’Kinley Kidd were crowned the 2026 King and Queen alongside their Royal Court.
The Grand Coronation gave Club members an opportunity to be celebrated and recognized while building confidence and creating memories with their peers and families.
More than a formal event, the Coronation reflected the sense of belonging and community that Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama works to create for every young person who walks through its doors.
