Free parenting sessions will provide families with educational resources, childcare, and incentives at Boys & Girls Clubs locations across South Alabama.

MOBILE, Ala. — Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama (BGCSA), in partnership with the Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education, is bringing Born Ready University to families throughout the community.

The program provides practical information and resources to help families better understand early childhood development and prepare their children for lifelong learning and success.

Participants will explore four key areas of early childhood development:

  • Child Development: Understanding how children grow, learn, and develop during their earliest years.
  • Social-Emotional Development: Supporting children’s emotional well-being and building healthy relationships.
  • School Readiness: Helping families prepare their children for a successful transition into school.
  • Creating a Healthy & Safe Environment: Providing tools to support children’s health, safety, and overall well-being.

To encourage participation, each session will include free food, childcare, books, a $25 gift card for attendees, and additional incentives.
