2nd Annual Grand Coronation

On March 17th, the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama proudly hosted the 4th Annual Advocates for Girls Empowerment Conference—an inspiring and impactful event that brought together 70 girls for a full day of career exploration, personal development, and powerful conversations around confidence, resilience, and self-worth.

This annual conference has become a cornerstone of our commitment to nurturing the leadership potential of young women in our community. Led by Tiffany Pogue, Director of Workforce Development and Teen Services, the 2025 conference was a true reflection of her passion for youth empowerment and her dedication to providing meaningful experiences for the next generation of female leaders. Under her guidance, the event offered a series of hands-on workshops, interactive discussions, and opportunities for one-on-one mentorship.

From self-care and mental wellness sessions to career panels featuring local women leaders across industries, the day was thoughtfully designed to help young girls imagine bold futures for themselves. Participants engaged in open dialogue around the challenges they face, the strengths they possess, and the dreams they hold close. Each activity aimed to equip them with tools not only to navigate adolescence but to thrive as confident, capable women.
