Welcome to the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama

The primary mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama is to provide year-round youth development programs and services designed to enhance the quality of life for the young people of Mobile & Baldwin counties

Our organization started in 1957, and now includes 10 youth development club sites. The clubs offer homework help, tutoring, computer training, drug prevention program, visual and performing arts, and sports activities.

We also offer residential and day treatment programs for adjudicated youth: Camp Martin Leadership Academy, G.R.O.W.T.H, P.O.I.N.T.E. Academy.  Both Camp Martin and G.R.O.W.T.H. have been cited in publications here and abroad as the most successful facilities of their kind in the United States.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama now has over 200 employees and is the largest youth organization in Alabama.  The national organization rates us one of the top ten Boys & Girls Clubs in the country.
