MISSION STATEMENT
...is that of the National Organization:
To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Founded in 1957 and originally consisting of one club near downtown Mobile, the organization now has seven youth development sites. Members participate in programs within five core areas stipulated by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America: Character & Leadership Development; Education & Career Development; Health & Life Skills; the Arts; and Sports, Fitness, and Recreation.
